3D / 4D Obstetric Packages
Your pregnancy is a special time. As your baby grows and develops it can sometimes be hard to understand the changes that are occurring, 3D imaging allows you and your family the perfect opportunity to see your baby in a memorable and unique way. -
Fact Sheet 02: Ultrasound
Three dimensional (3d) ultrasound is a relatively new diagnostic tool which is rapidly increasing in use in obstetrics. Standard ultrasound scanning is called 2d or greyscale. A 3d view is produced when images in 3 different planes are reconstructed into a static 3 dimensional image. When the images are reconstructed in real-time and viewed as a movie, it is called 4d.
