A mammogram is a breast xray which shows the glands, fat and blood vessels of the breast.

Pregnancy scans (including 3D and 4D scans), general abdominal, pelvic and breast ultrasound are performed.

Bone Densitometry
Bone Densitometry is used to find out if patients are normal, osteopaenic or osteoporotic.
In some cases it will not be claimable with medicare and you will be asked if you can pay
for the examination before we will proceed. The femurs and spine are assessed, with the
diagnosis made using the lowest T-score.

Computed Tomography (CT)
A CT scanner uses xrays to obtain data which is then processed by a special computer.
Detailed images of soft tissue, blood vessels and bone are produced.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
MRI uses radiowaves, a powerful magnet and a special computer to produce detailed images of the body.
MRI does not use xrays, is not painful and is not known to be harmful.
